In association with the North End Restoration project, the USACE collected topographic profiles on the northernmost 13 km of Assateague Island. A sled survey collected elevations from the upper beach to the depth of closure along transects spaced at 0.25 km intervals. This data is available through contacting ASIS (asis_gis@nps.gov). Prior permission must be granted from Gregory Bass of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, before this data is distributed.
