Fire and Fuels Management Plan, 2009 Annual Update. U.S. National Park Service policy requires that every park unit with burnable vegetation develop a fire management plan as guided by Director's Order-18 (DO-18) (http://www.nps.gov/fire/download/fir_wil_do18.pdf). The plan serves as a detailed and comprehensive program of action to implement fire management polocies and objectives, consistant with the unit's objectives. This plan outlines the fire and fuels management program at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
