This report contains Appendix XIV-The General Law on Ecological Balance and the Protection of the Environment which is a supplement to Special Report No. 8 published in 1988 (See NBS-CPRS-94.). It translates the ecology law of Mexico. The author recommends that U.S. individuals have access to this document because it covers environmental issues of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) process relating to the adequacy of the environmental regulations in Mexico.
