Aquatic life of Lassen Volcanic National Park

Ellis FA. 1972. Aquatic life of Lassen Volcanic National Park

This paper focuses on the conditions supporting life in different aquatic areas of Lassen Park and relates these conditions to the organisms which live there in order to help the park visitor understand the biological and physical interactions taking place. It is not an extensive check-list of water life in the park. Aquatic environments have been arranged into a reasonable scheme, after which a detailed look has been taken at the interaction between physical and biotic factors at work in each situation.
