Responses of Breeding Peregrine Falcons to Human Stimuli
Johnson TH. 1986. Responses of Breeding Peregrine Falcons to Human Stimuli. United States Forest Service. Santa Fe
This report discusses the behavioral responses of peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus) to human disturbance and stimuli. A model that defines sensitive zones around nesting habitat is determined by the distances at which any stimulus brings a response. The information was acquired while studying peregrines in the Jemez Mountains, NM.
