This plan identifies the goal and objectives, and actions for management of aquatic/water resources. To do this, the plan presents an overview of the aquatic/water resources and lists known problems. Aquatic resources within Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are varied, vulnerable to human abuse, and at times can present a danger to visitors. The plan identifies the aquatic resources and specifies research and management objectives and programs for attaining these goals. An aquatic/water resources management program is presented and identifies the minimum standards in which the program should be implemented.
