This report is based upon a review of the materials in the park's Fish Files, upon talks with many who have fished in these waters for years, upon conferences with National Park Service and California Department of Fish and Game personnel who are well acquainted with the fishery situation over a long period of time, upon Mr. James W. Moffett's report, "A Fishery Survey of Some Waters in Lassen Volcanic National Park," and upon field investigations I had an opportunity to make during late May and early June, 1954. It is intended that this report will provide some helpful suggestions and recommendations and serve as a guide to the establishment of a suitable management and stocking program for the waters of the park.
