Riparian and wetlands survey: Pecos National Historical Park

Muldavin E. 1991. Riparian and wetlands survey: Pecos National Historical Park. New Mexico Natural Heritage Program, University of New Mexico. Albuquerque, NM

Survey describing the major riparian and wetlands vegetation communities along the Pecos River within the park. For each community, describes plant species and physical setting. Includes a 'riparian and wetlands vegetation' map and charts showing cross sections of the river and the location of vegetation communities by position and elevation. Ends with management recommendations. Field sampling and the classification of the samples collected during this survey will generate data consistent with the National Wetlands Inventory of US Fish and Wildlife Service and the New Mexico Natural Heritage Program of plant community identification.
