Summary of a rodent survey conducted on Tutuila and Rose Island, American Samoa during October 21 to November 5, 1971. Species of rats found in American Samoa are Polynesian rat (Rattus exulans), black rat (R. rattus) and the Norway rat (R. norvegicus). Results indicate the need of rat control as they are causing damage to agricultural crops.
