This paper gives a description of the anatomy of the brown tree snake, its feeding habits and further experiments on the role of sensory receptors in finding prey. Snakes were collected on Guam and blindfolded or not (control). Blindfolded snakes were just as likely to strike prey as control snakes, however the strike distance was reduced and the time to initiate the strike was increased.
