Data from an earlier bibliographic study on rooting depths of native US plants was analyzed to determine the rooting depths of plants found on low-level wastes sites at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, NM. Average rooting depths and ranges of rooting depths are listed for 53 species of plants. A brief ecological description for each plant is also present.
