Prasil RG. 1971. Sea and coastline surveys : Katmai National Monument, Alaska, July 1969 through June 26, 1971. Natural Resources Survey and Inventory Report. AR-71/02. Alaska Region. King Salmon, AK

From July 1969 to June 1971, ten flights were made along the Katmai coast to determine marine mammal and, to a lesser extent, terrestrial populations. Observations made during routine boat patrols also contributed data relevant to coastal mammals. For convenience, the coast was divided into seven zones. Observations were made for sea otter, sea lion, hair seal, and brown bear.
