Zieman JC. 1975. Seasonal variation of turtle grass, Thalassia testudinum Konig, with reference to temperature and salinity effects. Aquatic Botany. 1:107-123
This report discusses the seasonal variations of biotic factors of turtle grass (Thalassia testudinum) in relation to temperature and salinity in southwest Biscayne Bay, Florida near the Turkey Point power plant. Factors include blade density, leaf standing crop, production of leaves, new vertical shoots, leaf length, leaf width, leaf growth rate, and turnover rate. Graphs present the data.
