This study monitored the spread of garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) by mapping affected areas and investigating methods for controlling the plant. The plant currently affects 15 ha of the 52,830 acres of Mammoth Cave National Park. A discussion of the plant is followed by study methodology. Calculations are given for man-hours required to pull up all the invading plants. Four hypotheses are given and tested for seed dispersal. Recommendations for the control of garlic mustard is given.
