In 1974, 1975, and 1976 blood samples were taken from captured bears in GRSM -- 124 for serum parameters an 96 for hematological data. Red cells, white cells, mean corpuscular volume and hemoglobin were counted, and 23 blood chemicals were measured. All of these items are discussed in the paper.
