Small mammal populations were studied in the upper Frijoles Canyon of Bandelier National Monument, NM, using capture/recapture techniques. Four species of Peromyscus and three Eutamias quadrivittatus were captured. Includes a map of trapping areas, a record of mammal tracks and birds encountered, and suggestions for future work.
