This paper describes the occurrence, distribution, and population characteristics of small mammals (particularly the white-footed mouse, Peromyscus leucopus; short-tailed shrew, Blarina brevicauda; meadow vole, Microtus Pennsylvanicus; and the chipmunk, Tamias striatus) of the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area in northeast Ohio. Study skins and skulls of the specimens collected are contained in the mammal collection of the University of Akron.
