Snag Lake was surveyed to determine its value as a fishery and its place in the park ecosystem. Gill nets were used to collect fish samples from the lake. The lake was estimated at 1/2 its normal surface area and water level down by 8-12 feet. Fish and wildlife (numbers and species) in and around the lake were noted.
