The purpose of this document is to provide a Social Science Research Plan for Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Some research questions identified by the plan, in order of priority, include; economic impact of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area NRA on local economy, methods of improving cooperation among governments, the relationship between regional growth and park visitation, the effectiveness of visitor management, the impacts of NPS water quality policies on the surrounding regions, and recreation priorities of visitors.
