A checklist of cultivated plants formulated from plant remains found in Montezuma Castle National Monument. Most abundant were the remains of cultivated squashes and pumpkins (Cucurbita species), melon (Cucurbita foetidissima), and gourd (Lagenaria siceraria). Cultivated beans also were found.
