This is a collection of text, graphs, maps, and photographs relating to the fire history of the Jemez Mountains, NM. Samples of fire scars were taken from trees, snags, and logs at 25 sites. Dendrochronological methods were used to reconstruct fire occurrence patterns as far back as 1480. Information includes lightning fires at Bandelier National Monument from 1931-1993, maps of sampling sites, fire histories of each site, season of fire scar formation, a map Jemez Mountains salamander (Plethodon neomexicanus) occupation sites, and intervals of fire occurrence.
