Assessing the fate of atmospheric inputs in small lake/watershed ecosystems of the Lake Superior Basin

Rutkowski D and Stottlemyer R. 1984. Assessing the fate of atmospheric inputs in small lake/watershed ecosystems of the Lake Superior Basin. Bulletin of the Ecological Society of America. 65(2; Program Issue):134

Studies were initiated two years ago on three lake/watershed ecosystems vegetated by mature boreal and northern hardwood forests to evaluate long-term change due to anthropogenic atmospheric inputs. The objective is to develop a record of inputs, detect ecosystem chemical and biological change, and establish representative baseline data sets.
