Reports a survey of Argentine ant (Linepithema humile) in the Crater District of Haleakalb National Park. Argentine ants were found only within 1 km of Park headquarters. Two other species, Hypoponera opaciceps and Cardiocondyla emeryi were found elsewhere in the District. Discusses techniques for monitoring and controlling Argentine ants.
