A survey of three subspecies of beach mice (Peromyscus polionotus) on the coast of Florida: Perdido Key beach mouse (Peromyscus polionotus trissyllepsis), Choctawhatchee beach mouse (Peromyscus polionotus allophrys), and pallid beach mouse (Peromyscus polionotus decoloratus). Live traps were set in areas of known occurrence and potential habitat. The trapped animals were marked for identification in the event of recapture. The trapping results and population estimates are discussed and presented in tabular form. Maps show the locations of traplines.
