A study to monitor the status of endangered bat taxa inhabiting the Buffalo National River. Six caves were found to house bachelor or transient gray bat (Myotis grisescens) colonies in summer. Another cave houses a gray bat maternity colony. Additional caves were found to be hibernacula for gray bats. Indiana bats (M. sodalis) were found in three caves. Includes maps of caves and trapping sites and tables of banding numbers.
