This report concludes that increases in erosion and runoff into Redwood Creek, resulting from intensive timber harvesting and related human activity along the upper creek, are affecting resources of Redwood National Park. Direct consequences are listed. The paper documents the increased sediment loads and runoff, discussing evidence from comparison of aerial photographs, historical observations, and monitored cross-sections. This is important as one of the first indications of problems in the Redwood Creek area.
