This report covers the second consecutive year of monitoring Mexican spotted owl (Strix occidentalis) breeding territories in the Jemez Mountains, NM. Trends in occupancy rates are determined by comparing current findings with information from as far back as 1979. Habitat quality and distribution of spotted owls in available habitat is discussed. Includes one page of recommendations for management.
