This is the fourth annual account of spotted owl (Strix occidentalis) monitoring in five territories on US Forest Service land in the Jemez Mountains, NM. Average occupancy rates and distribution for 24 separate habitats are compared for 1979 to 1992. This report also contains information about spotted owls recorded on National Park Service lands.
