Clynne MA. 1983. Stratigraphy and major element geochemistry of the Lassen volcanic center, California. San Jose State University
The Lassen volcanic center developed in three stages: Stage I, Early Phase of Brokeoff Volcano; Stage II, Late Stage Brokeoff Volcano; and Stage III, Lassen Volcanic Center. Each of these phases is discussed in detail and the geochemistry of each phase is given. Included is a summary of regional geology in the Pre-Late Pliocene and Late Pliocene-Recent and regional structural geology. Inside the back cover is a topographic map of Lassen Volcanic National Park, a geologic map of the western flank of Brokeoff Volcano and vicinity and a generalized geologic map of the Lassen Volcanic Center.
