This study documents the effects of heated effluent from Turkey Point power plant on the macro-invertebrates and fish of Biscayne Bay and Card Sound. Samples were taken using otter trawls, and data was collected on water temperature, salinity, and oxygen. The study concluded that summer temperatures above 32 degrees Celsius were detrimental to the environment, but the changes could be reversed in the winter. Changes caused by summer temperatures above 33 could not be reversed. It also concluded that intermittent flow was less damaging than constant flow. Graphs, tables, and maps present the data.
