Studies on the biology of the reef fishes of Guam

The study has a three-fold purpose: 1) to provide baseline data on the species composition and abundance of resident fishes on selected reef flats on Guam; 2) to indicate patterns of fish distribution on reef flats that might be generally applicable to a variety of reef areas on Guam; and 3) to suggest envrionmental factors which influence the composition of reef flat fish communities.
