The report details condition and fecundity, along with a variety of diseases and parasites affecting the herd. The author compares information collected during 1989-1990 with that from previous years, and also with data from other Big Cypress units and adjacent study areas. The deer study particularly relates to their importance as prey for the endangered Florida panther.
