This paper is a report on collections of freshwater Amphipoda of the eastern United States by type localities. Plates show distinguishing characteristics. Notes give additional observations and features. The species include Crangonyx gracilis packardii from Hidden River Cave; Stygobromus exilis from Mammoth Onyx Cave located near Mammoth Cave National Park and from Cedar Sink Cave in Mammoth Cave National Park; and Stygobromus vitreus Cope from Richardson's Spring, White Cave, and Cedar Sink Cave in Mammoth Cave National Park.
