Report of a study focusing upon the biotic communities and physical environment of beach and dune areas of Padre Island National Seashore, Texas, to identify the vegetational differences between beaches with light and heavy usage, develop a vegetation map, monitor the extant beach and dune profiles for sand storage and sediment, establish the relationship between mammals and vegetation to determine the extent of habitat damage, and to examine storm surge and wave damage as storms occurred during the study period.
