This report contains the advisability of establishing Fort Clatsop, Oregon as a national monument. Public Law 590, 84th Congress, approved June 18, 1956, authorized and directed the Secretary of the Interior to investigate and report to the Congress as to the advisability of establishing Fort Clatsop, Oregon, as a national monument. The present report is a result of that authorization.
