This report is one of a large group containing details of individual projects done as part of the major rehabilitation efforts in the Redwood Creek basin, Redwood National Park, California. Work in this unit consisted of excavating one road-stream crossing. The crossing was partly excavated as part of work on unit 84-5, but as erosion continued, complete excavation and restoration was needed by 1987. The report includes a location map, cost summaries, and 8 color slides. Background information on file for each site includes photopoint files (photopoint maps and description of locations for documentary photographs), color slides (the work process, before-and-after documentation), administrative files (calculations of volumes for excavation, equipment/hours/costs, daily logs, contracts, etc.), detailed geomorphic site maps (unmarked mylar base maps with overlays), and aerial photographs.
