This report is one of a large group containing details of individual projects done as part of the major rehabilitation efforts in the Redwood Creek basin, Redwood National Park, California. It contains a description of the site between Bald Hills Road and Redwood Creek, and a chronological summary of erosion features (with maps). The report describes the erosion control rehabilitation work, with an evaluation of the heavy equipment phase. Labor intensive work consisted of secondary treatment (particularly spreading straw mulch). Tables show costs, cost analysis, and equipment specifications. The appendix contains aerial photographs marked to show photopoints, and a list identifying locations and photographs/slides taken from these points. Background information on file for each site includes photopoint files (photopoint maps and description of locations for documentary photographs), color slides (the work process, before-and-after documentation), administrative files (calculations of volumes for excavation, equipment/hours/costs, daily logs, contracts, etc.), detailed geomorphic site maps (unmarked mylar base maps with overlays), and aerial photographs.
