Monitored six Common Murre colonies near Elephant Seal Cove Beach from 1995 through 1997 to determine the effect of a shipwreck and rescue effort which led to one murre colony being abandoned and others subsequently dpredated by brown pelicans, western gulls and common ravens. Monitored populations, eggs, seasonal patterns, air temperature, upwelling index and diurnal attendance.
