Taxonomy of the eastern pipistrel

The taxonomy of the eastern pipistrelle bat is recorded. Methodology for determining size, color, and integrity of collection is given. Taxonomy is presented for Pipistrellus subflavus subflavus, P.s. clarus, P.s. floridanus, and P.s. veraecrucis. For this study, Pipistrellus subflavus subflavus was collected from Dixon Cave, Crystal Cave, Colossal Cave, Long Cave, and Mammoth Cave in Mammoth Cave National Park.
