From the Abstract: "Effects of non-native mountain goats on 58 rare and/or endangered plants of the Olympic Mountains were assessed. Three of these were intensively analyzed during 1979: Campanula piperi Howell, Aster paucicapitatus Rob., and Senecio neowebsteri Blake." Study area of Klahhane Ridge with a goat population of approximately 175 which was shown to severely impact the rare plant populations.
