This is the result of a survey of terrestrial biological resources on the Point Loma peninsula, San Diego, California in the hopes of providing a database for future facilities planning. The survey investigates and presents the terrestrial vegetation and wildlife within the boundaries of federal property. An emphasis is placed on the federally endangered species, and those species under review or being studied for listing with threatened and endangered status. A map of the study area in the Point Loma peninsula and a generalized cross-section of Point Loma illustrating geologic strata and soils are included. There are also several plant and animal checklists.
