A study to determine whether timber rattlesnakes (Crotalus horridus) occur naturally in Prince William Forest Park, and if so, to locate the primary area(s) occupied by the species. Contains a review of the history of discovery of timber rattlesnakes in the park; an analysis of the phenotypic characteristics of the specimens; an assessment of whether or not the specimens were released captives or natural occurrences; and management recommendations.
