An investigation of the vegetation and flora of 22 tinajas (bedrock depressions containing water) and six hanging gardens in Navajo Sandstone in the Waterpocket Fold, Capitol Reef National Park. This report describes vegetation patterns, species composition, dispersal ecology, riparian flora, and the floristic differences found between tinajas and hanging gardens.
