University planning students put together this report on creating wetland on the former B-Mill Deck, now within Redwood National Park, California. A large paved area would be restored to more natural conditions, providing habitat for native plants and animals. Development of the wetland is in part a mitigation for very minor impacts of a planned parking area and trail on new property in that area. In addition to providing background on the area and project, this paper discusses alternative plans (with fairly detailed drawings of existing conditions and possibilities) and choices for revegetation. It has color photocopies showing views of the site, including degraded areas. Appendices are a list of Davison Ranch wildlife (with habitat and presence codes), price list of plants for use in revegetation, 2 short 1997 papers by Jim Popenoe about restoration at the site, and copies of related e-mail messages.
