Mcdougall WB and Jacobs MC. 1927. Tree Mycorhizas from the Central Rocky Mountain Region. American Journal of Botany. 14(5):258-266

During the summer of 1925, mycorhizas were collected from eleven species of woody plants in the central Rocky Mountain region of the U. S. . Collections were made during June and July in Utah, Idaho, and the Yellowstone National Park, and during July and August in Colorado. The material was imbedded, sectioned, and stained by Miss Jacobs, and the finished preparations have been studied by both authors.
