The report encompasses the lakes of the Twin Lakes area, including Echo Lake, Upper Twin Lake, Lower Twin Lake, Swan Lake and Rainbow Lake which were surveyed between August 17 and 26, 1976. All lakes were inventoried using observations and measurements which included water color, clarity, depth, temperature, abundance of aquatic invertebrates and vegetation, watershed condition, shoreline type, bottom type, use and accessibility. This paper discusses and summarizes the general results of preliminary lake inventories performed on these waters.
