From Cinder Cone, crusts of an unknown bluish-green mineral crystallized on many old fractured surfaces. Small, shiny, blue-green spots consisting of aggregates of plates and fibers which lie parallel to the surfaces make up the crusts. The mineral appears to be often with blue glass, but occurs with colorless glass also. Optical and crystallographic properties were determined. The spectographic examinations show the qualtitative and approximate quantitative composition: iron and copper appear to be essential to the formation of the mineral.
