Although the water quality of Lake Powell is generally very good, recent concerns with bacterial contamination in areas of heavier recreational use have prompted monitoring. Two in-park laboratories are now certified by the Utah Department of Health to analyze samples, and information is maintained in a computer database. This report consists mainly of charts and tables, and Appendix B notes that three computer disks with seven compressed (ZIP) files contain digital copies of all the tables, figures, and other materials used to produce the report (not with text).
