This is the account of three years of studying bald eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) in the Alamo, Capulin, and White Rock Canyons, and at the headwaters of the Cochiti Reservoir, NM. This report compared collected data to that collected over the previous ten years and to data collected across the state of New Mexico. This study focused on population dynamics, casting (diet) analysis, foraging behavior, and roosting activity. Three pages of recommendations for management are included.
