Bald eagle nesting and productivity, Katmai National Park, 1991
Squibb R. 1992. Bald eagle nesting and productivity, Katmai National Park, 1991. National Park Service
Aerial surveys of nesting bald eagles were conducted in summer 1991 in the Naknek River drainage and in Amalik Bay to locate nests and estimate productivity. The surveys indicated no reduction in density or productivity of bald eagles in the last 20 years, and more active nests were found in Amalik Bay than in the 1970s.
